The Maker Board That Runs Android
The ASUS Tinker Board series are single-board computers designed as high-performance alternatives to Raspberry Pi, with particular strength in multimedia applications. Featuring faster CPUs, more RAM, and a dedicated GPU with H.264/H.265 hardware decoding, the Tinker Board is optimised for media playback, digital signage, and Android-based projects.
Tinker Board uses the same 40-pin GPIO layout as Raspberry Pi, making it mostly hardware-compatible with existing HATs and accessories. It runs Debian Linux and Android, and supports 4K HDMI output on select models โ making it a solid choice for kiosk systems, in-vehicle infotainment, and commercial display applications.
