DESFire EV1 NFC Store

High-Security Contactless for Demanding Systems

DESFire EV1 is NXP's answer to the security vulnerabilities of Mifare Classic. Where Classic uses proprietary Crypto-1 (which has known weaknesses), DESFire EV1 uses industry-standard AES-128 and 3DES encryption with mutual authentication โ€” making it highly resistant to cloning and replay attacks.

Available in 4K and 8K memory variants, DESFire EV1 organises data in a flexible file system of up to 28 applications with multiple files each. It is NFC Forum and ISO 14443-A compliant, and is the preferred chip for high-security deployments: government ID, university campuses, banking-grade access control, and high-volume transit systems.
