A Trusted Legacy Standard
NTAG203 was the industry-standard NFC chip before NTAG213 superseded it. It offers 144 bytes of user memory in an NFC Forum Type 2 Tag format — functionally similar to NTAG213 for most use cases, but without the password protection and some of the later security features.
NTAG203 tags remain widely supported and are a practical choice for high-volume, cost-sensitive deployments where legacy system compatibility is a requirement, or where the additional security features of NTAG213 are not needed. All our NTAG203 products are NDEF pre-formatted and ready to use.
